JAVA Platform SE Binary Stopped working using Windows VISTA
I had been using Internet Explorer running on my Windows Vista system. Whenever I try to open my Internet Explorer an error message is displayed showing some msvcrt.dll. Also, there is a message where it says that my Java Platform SE binary stopped working. I tried downloading recent JRE and after installing the same, same error occurs. Even I tried downloading web browser where my Internet Explorer not works smoothly also my Google search responds correctly. I am trying hard to remove this problem. Can anyone help me get rid of this problem so I can work efficiently on my web browser?

Msvcrt.dll is acronym for MS C++ Runtime Library is a module which contains functions used by Microsoft Visual C++ applications. This module is used by various applications running on the system. Never try to delete this file or else your Microsoft Windows operating system gets corrupted since it is not a part of it. There can by some spyware programs running onto your system which corrupts your file. Special care is to be taken that this file should not be deleted as it supports many application programs running on to your PC system.

As msvcrt.dll file is used by various applications you can try updating its software or file version on Windows Vista. For this purpose, you need to follow the instructions given below:
1. Click on start
2. Go to Control Panel
3. Select tools
4. Check for Internet Options
5. Go to security
6. Unchecked the box for protected mode.

To resolve your above problems, try resting your Web Browser(i.e. Internet Explorer) by the instructions given below:
1. Close your Web Browser
2. Click on start
3. Go to control panel
4. Go to Internet Options
5. Go to Advanced
6. Click on reset
7. Go to Internet Explorer settings
8. Click on reset
9. After restoring click on Close
10. Click on OK
Now try opening your Web browser I guess your error should not occur now.

Same problem occurred on my system, so I had followed the instructions given below to uninstall Java:
1. Click on start
2. Go to search
3. Type programs and features
4. Press enter
5. And press uninstall option.
6. Click on Uninstall
Now you can try downloading latest update from the vendor’s website and install it. I hope this might worked out for you.
