Security update for Windows Vista KB2305420
I had installed Windows Vista Operating system on my computer system. After I had installed a security update for Windows Vista (KB2305420) it gave an error to which my task scheduler was unable to work. Came to know when I was unable to schedule my backup and was not able to schedule it again. After much try I was not able to resolve my problem. I was unable to find the update to uninstall it. Also I had tried rolling back option but it gave me similar problems further. How am I able to solve my problem? Please help!!!

Re: Security update for Windows Vista KB2305420
Security update KB2305420 is very useful in resolving a disclosed vulnerability in Windows Task Scheduler. Attacker should have valid login and be able to locally exploit the vulnerability. This can be vulnerable by exploiting it from remote location or by anonymous users. That is why this security is important for the support on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server. It is used to address it by checking the way task scheduler validates the task used to run. For more information you can check Microsoft website for it.

Try using rolling back Windows by using system restore option which will revert your system to a previous point. Following are the instructions given below:
1. Click on start
2. Go to all programs
3. Go to accessories
4. Go to system tools
5. Click on system tools
6. Click on restore my computer to an earlier time
7. Click on next
8. It will go to restore point page
9. Select the date to which it was working fine
10. Click on next

Re: Security update for Windows Vista KB2305420
Uninstalling this update will help you in resolving your Task Scheduler Library getting back to normal. Try uninstalling it as your latest update may be incompatible or the file is getting corrupted. I had the same issues with my system running on a Windows Vista Home Premium for which I had carried out a system restore and turned off my automatic updates. After this, I had selected update KB2305420 and installed it. Till now my system is working fine and I have not yet got any error related to it.
