The subtitles you have if they are .srt then be able to be opened and edited in Notepad. To add .srt subtitles to an obtainable .mkv file, run MKVMerge. You have to Add/drag the .mkv then the .srt file onto the top pane. The centre pane demonstrates the streams which determine to be muxed. The original MKV video/audio constituent plus the innovative subtitles. The output is given an innovative name and saved. The output file be able to be tested through the likes of VLC media player and the subs selected beneath the 'Video' tab. Works great through VLC player, guess my old favorite, media player classic and windows media player encompass a number of issue through mkv files.

Re: I am not able to add subtitles to a mkv file
I have an avi file and would approximate to add subtitle via tsMuxer. On the other hand, tsMuxer not capable to read AVI file. Do you be familiar with several software I be able to demux the avi file and eliminate the h264 stream and dts stream. For some reason I did not acquire several results. I have download a Blu-Ray movie 1080p in a format of m2ts. Do I leave it unrestrained if I am endeavoring to rewind/fastforward or leave it checked. If it’s merely a HD movie do I check or uncheck. If your video does not play (1080p m2ts) it the majority likely requirements to be recoded, utilize megui for this. When you remux back to m2ts then yes create certain with the intention of option us unchecked.

I utilize a program called AVI_Mux_Gui v1.17.7. I do not imagine you be able to demux the h264 file other than it be able to remux to mkv. Which tsMuxeR does recognize. Significant don't forget, mt2s is not compatible through DTS or srt subs, you determine to necessitate to create a Blu-Ray structured file which tsMuxeR can do. On one occasion you mux the whole thing to "Blu-Ray" burn through Nero Burning Rom, create a UDF data DVD partition type 2.5. At present you have comprised an AVCHD disc with the entire of the above mentioned audio streams and srt subs the entire switchable. I just realized you be able to utilize mkvmerge for this as well, immediately load your .avi file, specify the fps or mkvmerge determine to assume it is 25fps specify in the "format specific options" tab, utilize 24000/1001 for 23.976fps.

Re: I am not able to add subtitles to a mkv file
While playing the movies I just be able to rewind or fast forward. Other than it play my 1080p movies The way to go would be creating a AVCHD DVD, I have comprised and not tried the method you presently position other than the entire you really did was just presently played the m2ts file within the Blu-Ray formation, tsMuxeR be able to make m2ts files alone and splitting is not neccesary as the PS3 be able to handle those files to an unlimited size. Similar to I said, pony up the dough (~$1.00/DVD9) for a spindle of 25, this is most excellent alternative. This might/might not work other than I am not 100% certain as I have by no means had the necessitate to try. Make an AVCHD disc other than as an alternative for burning it create an image, maintain it on your HDD and endeavor to load it with a virtual drive.

If they are no matter which other than the two mentioned you determine to acquire a bright green bar on the screen. On one occasion you have comprised your BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders with the intention of tsMuxeR completed burn them to a DVD9 utilizing Nero Burning ROM, create a UDF-DATA DVD, separation type 2.5. You necessitate changing with the intention of setting manually. Maintain in mind with the intention of a DVD9 holds 8152mb of data, you determine to necessitate approx 6% of with the intention of for the AVCHD header so create absolutely convinced your total file size is no larger than 7690mb, I would round down to 7600mb or even 7500mb just presently to be safe. If you locate with the intention of your total file size is too large you determine to necessitate recoding your video stream and making it a specific size.
